Prior to moving to Oregon in the fall of 2001, attorney Peter Mohr practiced law in Denver, Colorado, where he represented both private and public sector interests primarily in water law, environmental law, and real property matters in one of the most arid and rapidly growing regions in the nation.

Through his experience with private sector clients he continues to represent a diverse array of interests including, but not limited to, commercial real estate companies, golf course operations, renewable energy development entities, large and small agriculture operations, timber interests, residential real estate development, and wetlands mitigation banking enterprises. Public sector and public interests represented includes clients such as local water supply districts, county, state, federal agencies, and non-governmental organizations such as the Oregon Water Trust.

Having worked extensively in over-appropriated basins, and as an attorney focusing on environmental law, water rights, energy, and natural resources development issues, Mr. Mohr maintains a firm understanding of market mechanisms that drive water availability and is skilled in developing water rights procurement and utilization strategies for satisfying clients’ future water needs.
